Causes of the Korean War and the Influence of Joseph Stalin

Introduction to Topic:
Wars of often put into simple narratives when being taught to students, the problem with this is that wars require many people overseeing and directing them from before-to-after; Modern wars even more-so. The Korean War is a war everyone believed to be simple, but this was proven wrong when dialogues between Kim Il-Sung, Mao Zedong, and Joseph Stalin were released in the 1990s, showing that the Korean War was a collective effort of these leaders and revealing new motives, disagreements and predictions about the world that influenced their decision making.
